 Hon. Lateef Afinni, Secretary to the Ikorodu Local Government, addressed leaders and party members, emphasizing the importance of character over financial influence in politics. He quoted a former Deputy Governor and Baba Basorun Olorunfunmi, stating that "money is not the attribute to collect a party ticket, but your behavior, relationship with people, and contribution to the party" ¹.

Afinni also clarified that no leader has asked for money, but you choose to give to party members willingly.
